Dotonburi

Dotonburi was by far my favorite part of Osaka. The night life rivals that of Shinjuku. I booked my Hotel in advance near Osaka Station. Big mistake. You want to be staying at a hotel near Namba Station. This is where all the fun happens. Good food, great bars, excellent night life. The train station closes at 12AM so I had to walk two miles back to my Hotel. Though I will say that my Hotel was very quiet and business-oriented (lots of older folk) and had reasonable amounts of space for an affordable price–if you’re into that.
